STEM education for ALL students

We help students get the skills they need to succeed in a world filled with technology. We recognize that many of today’s schools, both public and private, lack the qualified staff and financial resources needed to provide students access to effective and high quality STEM education.

DART STEM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Funding for STEM Education

We provide financial assistance to public and private schools, as well as homeschool families and co-op groups, to purchase STEM education resources and services, particularly in the areas of Technology and Engineering.

Computer Hardware and Equipment

We repair, refurbish, and recycle donated computer equipment to provide to schools and homeschool students for individual student use or as an on-premises computer lab.

Community Outreach

We organize after-school clubs, in-school field trips, weekend workshops, summer camps, and other experiential events focused on STEM, particularly in the areas of Technology and Engineering.

DART STEM Services exists to serve students.  We do that by working with public and private schools, homeschool families and co-op groups, youth organizations like the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, other nonprofit organizations, corporations, and STEM education resource and service providers.

At DART STEM Services, we recognize the importance of preparing students for a future where even fast food orders are taken by a self-service kiosk.  We recognize that many of today’s schools, both public and private, are ill-equipped to provide students with access to effective and high quality STEM education that teaches them things like computer programming, electrical circuitry, 3D modeling, robotics, and other concepts associated with technology and engineering.

We envision a future where there are enough technology producers to satisfy the needs and wants of technology consumers.  In a world where the consumers outweigh the producers, the systems and services on which society has become dependent can no longer be maintained, and critical infrastructure begins to fail.  Stagnation replaces innovation.

Our Mission

The mission of DART STEM Services is to expand access to STEM education opportunities for ALL students regardless of where or how they go to school.

Our Values and Beliefs

Digital Literacy is essential

Digital and technological literacy is a necessary component in preparing a student to be successful in a 21st century, technology-driven society.

All students need STEM Education

All students should have access to robust STEM education opportunities so that:

  • They know about career pathways available to them
  • They have first-hand experiences that help them decide what fields interest them
  • They feel equipped and prepared to pursue a STEM field in college or as a career
Everyone can do STEM

A student’s ability to succeed in STEM fields does not depend on race, gender, or socio-economic status.

Our success as an organization is not measured in how many students we impact, but through the impact we have on each student.
