Give new life to old tech hardware! Help a student and reduce e-waste all at the same time
We repair, refurbish, and recycle retired technology to put it to use for students. Companies often want their employees to have the latest and most powerful equipment available, so they buy new gear every three to five years. However, many of these discarded computers have lots of life left in them! Even those that are too old and under powered to be used everyday can provide opportunities for students to learn how to diagnose and repair them.
Some of the equipment we receive just needs a quick clean and new software. Computers, though, may need a new hard drive or battery, and some of the older machines require additional repairs. All these things cost money, so help us fund this program!
We’ve already given away several donated laptop computers to private schools and homeschool students, and we have many more waiting in our warehouse. Do you know a school that needs a computer lab or a homeschool student that needs a laptop? Nominate them using the form below.
